Kobi is known for his unique designs and his love for details. Deeply inspired by his eastern European roots and heritage, Kobi’s collections are marked with a feeling of warm tradition felt in the handcrafted touch and workmanship that embody his aesthetic. With a design philosophy that aims to elevate the everyday, Kobi’s collections are made with luxurious fabrics and beautiful hand-worked embellishments.
For his Resort 2019 Collection Kobi Halperin transitions from fall into spring, inspired by and celebrating the spirit of Thailand. A country that reveals an interesting dichotomy; known for both its devout spiritual practices as well as an animated nightlife. A Buddhist nation, Thailand, once known as Siam, has tens of thousands of iconic temples that are vibrantly decorated and are immersed throughout its cities. These temples play an important role in the people’s everyday life as a place for merit making, preying to Buddha and to visit and seek advice from the monks. As dawn meets dusk the country comes alive decorated in lights with beautiful traditional dancing, and an irrepressible culinary scene.
